I don't understand the need to go into a discussion about security initiatives used on flights to/from Israel in this thread. Say what you want but clearly their efforts have worked. No other nation faces persistent threats of annihilation on a daily basis.
I merely hypothesized that their "security" procedures may be unpalatable to some (including me) and that may further reduce the incentive to start/continue service there.
As to their excuses for such "security", I couldn't care less. However, the TS&S forum or Omni is a better venue for such a discussion. @:-)
