I would say JFK is nicer, but YMMV.

For connections (my personal choice):

DEL-HKG-JFK
DEL-ORD-LGA/JFK/EWR
DEL-ZRH-JFK
DEL-VIE-JFK
DEL-BRU-JFK

Avoid BOM, LHR, FRA
