I am due to fly to FRA tomorrow (Tue) and then back on Wed, continuing onto BGO on Thu.. all on KL flights.

it seems that German ATC has voted to strike anytime on Wed.

I called FB Elite line and told them that I have no intention of being stuck in FRA on Wed as it is imperative that I be in BGO on Thu. So can I just board in AMS for BGO instead of FRA-AMS-BGO.

They said that as they have no news of the strike, no I can't just board in AMS for BGO. But if I want to, sure, I can change.. for a fee and a recalculation of the fare.

I didn't think they were very helpful... so I will protect myself on an award flight to BGO on Thu instead.
