I am about 4000 miles short of silver for this year. My company cut a ton of travel and I am likely not going to make it. I have a platinum amex that I remember getting 5000 mqm for last year. Has anybody tried cancelling and re applying for it to see if they will give the MQM again/calling to cancel and negotiating staying on if they give MQM?
