Not sure if you might be interested in the Viewsonic Vpad7 - one of the smaller (if not smallest) 7" tablet, WiFi & 3G, unlocked quadband tablet / oversized smartphone. Froyo 2.2.2 OS, 802.11 b/g & Bluetooth 2.1, unlocked GSM quad-band including UMTS 850/1900/2100 - Qualcomm ARM11 MSM 7227 CPU @ 600 Mhz (overclocked kernel with custom rooted ROM) 512 MB NAND flash memory, support up to 32MB mSD card - class 10, GPS/AGPS & Google Maps & full Market, 800 x 480 multi-touch capacitative screen, dual (0.3 MP front & 3 MP rear) cams and decent battery life. It's not a fast CPU but adequate, does NOT support Flash 10.1 - using it with AT&T Gophone prepaid & China Mobile HK 3G sim, easy to configure WiFi & mobile internet to browse. Has built-in mic & stereo speakers (volume/sound on the low side) but work well with wired headset and/or bluetooth ear piece.
It's easy to slip into day fanny pack, briefcase, backpack, traveler's shoulder day bag, etc. to take it anywhere on the GO, replaced my Garmin GPS as well running in Car Home/Mode with its huge 7" screen - and perfect for Transcon flights stuck in coach with its eReader apps.
