Five years later and I still seem to have the same video on the TG web site, which shows the seat as being almost flat, despite the text saying it has "180 degrees of recline". I just have this feeling that they're lying somewhere (no pun intended) and that it isn't really, really, flat - like BA/CX/LH.. Anyone have the real truth about this?
I have flown in that seat on multiple occasions on the 747s and A340s.
It is definitely NOT flat - the first issue is the angle being less than 180 (above the waist only) and the second issue is the "headrest" which protrudes up.
I even tried sleeping "backwards" with my head on the ottoman (covered by a blanket), and in this position you can certainly tell that the seat is not flat.
