You are so right!
We came in to the very far, end, last gate in the universe - I think it was half way to Antwerp - and it took about 20 minutes to walk down the terminal to passport control, which has the worst set of signs I've seen in a long time, but the lady in the bright chartreuse traffic control vest directed the lost tourist crowd very effectively.
From baggage claim to train platform was just a quick elevator ride, bought ticket, one more elevator, 40 m down the platform.

Oh, one word about the actual train: it should have been retired
before the second world war.
