Your mum will have to go through passport control again as Ireland ( and the UK) are not part of the schengen agreement meaning flights from both those countries arriving on mainland Europe must go through passport control , sorry for the bad news but as it's still a European arrival there shouldn't be a long wait ..... Even in France lol
