This is a really simple statement, and the best answer of all. It's not just in airline seats where rights interact and, sometimes, interfere. Insisting on one's rights without regard for others (even if allowed by those rights) is inconsiderate, at the least, if not actually rude. Anything other than the simple statement above (and we have a lot of it in this thread) is just bluster and noise.
