This is strange isnt it. When I came back from TPA in January, security at LGW would not allow a bottle of spirit that I had bought at TPA through (despite it being in one of those sealed bags). Only last week my friend brought a bottle of Whiskey from TPA (again in a sealed bag) and was allowed to take it through security for the domestic LGW-MAN leg. Have the rules changed over the past 9months or is it just inconsisent?

On another note, will all the changes at LGW North terminal eventually enable a International>Domestic transfer without going through the main departure area again or is that here to stay?
