The guy simply reclined his seat. I am not clear on what you mean by "agressively reclining". In my experience, you push the button and the seat back in economy doesn't move very far. It's not like the guy did a 180 degree reclinet into the OPs lap. There was no mention made of it being reclined during meal service.
