Hi everyone,

I'm flying LAX-SVO-DXB-HYD in near future. My first ticket LAX-SVO-DXB is with Aeroflot. I have a 3h 25 mins layover at SVO. My itinerary shows that I will arrive at Terminal D at SVO and depart from terminal E at SVO.

Question 1: Do I need a Russian transit visa to transfer flights at SVO? I do not plan to leave the airport. I'm hoping I can transfer to my second flight without going through passport control and immigration. How does terminal D to E transfer take place?

Question 2: My third connecting flight from DXB-HYD is with Emirates and I have a 2h 30 mins layover in DXB. I'm afraid if 2 hours is enough to change planes from terminal 1 to 3 at DXB. Do I have to clear immigration and recheck my bags at DXB? If Aeroflot can through check my bags to all the way to HYD, that would be great, but I'm not sure. My DXB-HYD is a separate ticket with EK.
