How cheap? Cheap enough that we could stay at the Sheraton and still get around?
Is that like FHR? I am not familiar with the SLH program.
I'd prefer to book something on points. 2 adults and 2 boys (11 & 13) I have SPG, HH or MR. Advice appreciated.
SLH is Small Luxury Hotels that Amex Plat members get membership in as a similar perk to FHR. I've never personally used it, but apparently it's a useful benefit with some nice four-star boutiques participating it.
If you choose to go via MR, the Ritz-Carlton, while not that highly regarded here, does have a Family Suite that could be an attractive option for the four of you.
