This is the access rule:
Transcontinental First Class, BusinessElite, or Full Y-Class Passenger Customers traveling on a nonstop Delta First Class, BusinessElite, or full Y-class ticket between JFK and Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, and San Francisco.
It says nothing about fare type. You should have access if you are in B/E on LAX-JFK.
As a data point, I have gotten SC access as an FO upgraded to X class on an LAX-GUA flight because it was international. So it shouldn't matter how you get into the forward cabin. If anything, AA allows Flagship Lounge access at LAX/JFK if you are in Z class (award ticket), so it shouldn't be different for DL since the SC access is to compete with UA/AA.
