NWA/Deltaflygirl, welcome to FlyerTalk! And, as so many here will attest, the Frontline Delta representatives like yourself are the absolute best. I've only had a couple of negative encounters in the past few years compared to hundreds of encounters ranging from pleasant to incredible. You and your co-workers are outstanding.

It's upper management at Delta that could learn so many lessons from the front line. I started moving my travel to UA/CO after this latest announcement but will still be Silver next year and flying only when necessary on DL. I never even took advantage of the prior 72-hour rule, but the communication (aka, lack of) from SMI and others and the recent "smugness" of their responses just defy anything that I've learned or practiced in business.
