Well, I finally signed up for Twitter... wanted to see what there was there that made it so far superior to FT (in SMI's perspective).

It was both refreshing, and disappointing, to see that Twitter is not immune to the haphazard communications that we see, for example, in response to e-mails/TTUs submitted via DL.com.

This exchange almost prompted a spit take:
Question: How much beer can I check flying from Seattle to Maryland?

Response: Alcohol beverages with more than 70% alcohol content 140 proof are considered hazardous and are prohibited on all Delta flights. Thanks for your inquiry.
Or, this one:
Question: U keep posting low prices for flt to/thru HND when you try to book a flt you get msg - price as increased several hundred $'s.

Response: I apologize pricing is based on availability. Thank you.
The more things change, the more they stay the same?
