With platinum you receive 8 qualifying flights. I will receive my card end of Nov. Finally. Untill feb however i will not fly that often. When do you receive the 8 qualifying flights? At the beginning of each calendar year? Or after you receive your card?

Also strange: with normal platinum card, you receive lounge access. With FB platinum you don't receive lounge access, not even at KLM/AF lounge. I Find that quite rediculous. The only good thing about the platinum therefore are the miles.

Can someone explain how it works with the levels? The qualifying flights, (how, when, what if you have a stop over etc) the amount of Miles you fly and other useful things in this matter.
