I checked in for 2 nights this week. Managed to check in early. Already booked an Executive Room, so didn't expect an upgrade. The room was bright, and freshly refurbished. The bathroom, however is rather small.

Elevators being repaired. In fact, 2 were out of service. It took me 15 mins to get to my floor. Very negative point, particularly if you are there on business.

Executive Lounge is rather small, however the staff are exceptional. Friendly to the point of even making hotel reservations for guests. You have to ask for hard liquor, it's not self serve. The buffet is disappointing, however the staff deliver food to guests.

Breakfast downstairs was in a makeshift meeting room. They also offer freshly cooked eggs, any style by chefs in front of you. The barista coffee was great.

The concierge gave me the wrong directions, which I was most unimpressed with.

Overall there are limited choices for 5 star in BNE, and the Hilton was reasonable, just be prepared for the refurbishment.
