Heehee. With the consolidated dining threads that exist on the AA and UA fora with people regularly posting complete menu descriptions and pictures of meals on tons of different flights we wouldn't need food fights here on the DL board!

Sure you do. I've had beef short ribs on domestic flights. SLC-BOS is the example that most immediately comes to memory.

Have you flown BE TATL or long haul?
Yes.

I had those same ribs in long-haul BE in Aug.
Guess long-haul BE has been dowgraded then. I'd be VERY disappointed to be served those ATL-BOG short ribs on a BE flight. Tenderloin of beef perhaps (and that was one of the choices on offer the last time I flew TATL BE) but those stringy short ribs would be an embarassment to BE.

I guess it all comes down to semantics and opinion as to wheter you want to call ATL-BOG catering "BusinessElite lite" or "Domestic First plus." To me, it's far closer to the latter. Based on my TATL experience, true BE has more courses, more choices per course, different presentation and plating, (generally) better food, etc.

I wish I had taken pictures of the breakfast on the return BOG-ATL. That breakfast wasn't even "Domestic First plus" level...
