Thanks jiejie for organising this, and sorry I couldn't get to the thread earlier -- have been rather rushed the last couple of days.

I'm pretty certain that I can make it: but I might be a tiny bit late for drinks. I'll double check with my wife in the morning, but I think I'll be coming solo (for numbers).

And although I am a beijing resident (officially), having moved here 10 days ago, I don't yet know my way around that much. I've been to sanlitun village by subway, so I hope/ think I can manage it. Will call/txt if I get lost (have the world's worst sense of direction, and as yet no data plan for my phone to get me out of trouble).
