Thanks for the lightning reply. That was my understanding, but the reason I am concerned is due to this article:

Obviously, Ben is a very reliable source, but he claims, "To change an award, you’ll have to redeposit the miles and rebook. Be aware that in the course of rebooking, the award may be repriced higher, or availability may disappear altogether"

That got me concerned.

Anyone else have experience with this?
