For YVR flights, around 90% of the passengers are Asians, mainly HK residents, however, there are also a portion of passengers connecting to MNL, DEL, and other SE Asian ports. I also noticed that on 888/889 there are more Caucasian which could possibly explain by the fact that the flight originates from JFK. I remember reading some posts before on 888/889, which says out of the 300+ seats, around 100 passengers travel between HKG-YVR. Regarding the last post, I remember CX did operate daytime flight out of LAX before. Am I right?
