I think he meant he just likes the 744 better than the 343. Something about wider...

As for me, I'd love to see the afternoon flight operated with the 747. I'll be flying First Class on this route in a few months and for my tastes at least, the 340's forward cabin simply doesn't compare to that of the 747.
