But for its mid-range price bracket, I'd agree Taittinger is a good well-balanced champagne, along with P-J, Veuve (richer) and PR (more elegant). The next natural step up from Taittinger is Ruinart in my book.
You do indeed have great taste.....Ruinart is a lovely champagne ^. Bollinger Special Cuvee NV is also a very good NV, as is Louis Roederer
