After getting some expert luxury advice on our trip to China this summer, we are looking for ideas in South America. We plan on going at the end of November and it looks like the weather will be real nice in many parts of South America. We have never been to SA before, but now that we live in Miami, we figure it would be a great time to go there. I am looking for some suggestions on where to go for a first time to South America. It could be retreats, spa's, great scenery, outdoor activities, relaxation or even one of the cities. I am open to anything and looking forward to suggestions. Thanks for your help
There has been a lot of buzz recently on Uruguay. It was featured in both Virtuoso Life magazine as well as AA's Nexos magazine. My seat-neighbor on a recent flight indicated the beaches are amazing, as are the women. It's often described as the Switzerland of South America.
I've never been myself, but based on what I've read/seen, it is at the top of my list. Check out luxe properties in Punta del Este as well as the FS Carmelo, of course.
