Update. The poster who suggested AFKL don't hire temps to manually purge miles seems to be right on the money! That, or simply the computers are down. Because my residual miles are still there even after the official expiration date came and went. Granted there are not many points left now that I've burned'em all as per forum recommendations, but still. The only thing that has happened is that I've recieved a desperatish obviously targeted email enticing me to fly AFKL again and if I do I shall I recieve X number miles for first Y flights and Z miles for consecutives. Well, well, I will consider it. Because ironically my past few flights have been my best KL flights ever. Nice but not overly servile service and no megaruns of last-minute upgrades of the staff's distant relative's mailman etc.
What didn't happen was also the crediting of miles for my last in-flight purchase (or
any in-flight purchase, coming to think of it). You cant have all, I suppose
