I've received a pass to access the lounge in T7 without a ticket. The agents out front were a bit confused but they called back to the club and eventually produced the pass. You will have to exit the terminal, ride the train (or walk) to T8 and clear again to get into the AA terminal for that flight but if you have a long time to kill it might be worth it.
