I should have explained the range field - as zoobtoob said it's the number of days after your date that you want to search. To search for October 10th-15th you'd type this:
OCT 10 5

You can enter 0 to search for only the date you entered but you do need to put a number in, it can not be blank.

I'll be fixing the bugs and adding things like ability to search for multiple passengers, reading out connecting flights properly and displaying everything a little neater. Thanks for the observations and suggestions keep them coming!
