Thai website much cheaper than ITA results
On ITA, KIX-BKK-KIX is from $2900 for 1/22-29.
On the Thai website it is around $1055 (early escape saver advantage=Q booking class) to $1185 (early escape saver advantage=H booking class), and to my surprise both earn *A credit.
The upgradeable fares are in the $3000 range. Not realistic of course.
I looked at ANA ($886) or UAL ($1407), but both route me through HND or NRT and take twice as long with the added flight and layover, for virtually no extra mileage. UA does have a fare for $1021 on 1/23, but again it is twice the travel time.
Also surprised UA doesn't show any Thai options, even though they are *A.
