Whenever a new aircraft is being planned, CX, amongst the world's top airlines, are always invited to confer with the manufactureres. It did with the 747-400, and 747-400ER, as well as 777-300 to which CX was the launch customer.

It says CX is looking... hardly the cause for excitement. At one point people were speculating if CX would eventually buy the A380. So far, that has not happened.
