I assume that the T&C's say that SWU's cannot be bartered or sold etc.. (although it does not appear
here) but I recently came across an interesting permutation. Our company needed to fly someone to our location but the individual would only come in Biz class. One of the people in my division suggested that we buy a coach ticket and then upgrade with one of his personal SWU's. Our boss agreed but said that my coworker should get compensated.
First of all, would that be legal? If yes, what kind of basis should my coworker use when determining the "value" of an SWU?
Couldn't find an answer elsewhere on FT - pls feel free to direct me to the appropriate thread if I missed it.
