My boyfriend flies the following on April 24 and 25th:
YGK-YYZ-LHR on AC
LHR-BRU on BA
He has a 2 hour, 5 minute connection at LHR. It is all issued as one ticket, on AC 014 ticket stock.

My question is this:
Is it most wise for him to check his baggage all the way through to BRU hoping that AC/BA will make the proper transfer at LHR
or
Should he check it so far as LHR and then re-collect it in LHR himself?

The only connections I have made at LHR were from BA-to-CP when they were partners. How does the connection centre work for non-partner connections?
