I wouldn't know about this as I would never stay at IC Le Grand or the Westin, which is a dump.
Complimentary morning coffee was a nice benefit that I appreciated, and at high end properties, it was very nice to be able to take it through room service. I am not suggesting that all hotels should offer this benefit, but rather am disappointed that Hyatt has eliminated the benefit, which had been available for as long as I can remember.
It would be equally disappointing if a hotel were to suddenly stop overnight shoe shining service, or cutback on housekeeping, amenities, or flowers. These issues may not be deal breakers, but there is still no excuse. Hotels should not be run like airlines.
At this point I have fully expressed my opinion on this issue, so I will leave it with this comment.
