I admit to being bamboozled by ROP gold card renewal criteria. I have two questions I hope someone can clarify:

1. My ROP account says I am gold "until Nov11". Does that mean until 31st October, or 30th November?

2. My gold status was achieved in Nov 2009. I didn't achieve 50,000 miles during the remainder of 2009; or 50,000 miles in 2010; or 80,000 miles between Nov 2009 and Dec 2010. These are the only 3 criteria given in the ROP handbook for renewal. However, I will fly 50,000 miles in 2011 - will this renew my gold status? It would be sufficient to attain gold status in the first place, so it would be bizarre not to qualify for a renewal.
