how can a benefit be eliminated if it does not seem to have been explicitly stated anywhere? In 2003, staying at PH Vendome, I distinctly remember having been charged for a coffee (and it was awful). At PH Milan, we would have certainy gotten cofffee had it been free. GH NYC throws out coupons for coffee/tea and water left and right still. And Andaz Wall Street charges $12 for a double coffee that eats out of a 50$ breakfast allowance since it has opened last year. The only hotel I can pinpoint for the coffee benefit is Park Hyatt Zurich and Highlands Inn.
Maybe it's over the top, but everyone has to take a deep breath, and stop hyperventilating for a perceived diminishement of benefits. COFFEE AND TEA HAS NEVER BEEN FREE AT HYATTS FO ALL GP MEMBERS. But breakfast is for diamonds, and it still is a great benefit. Thank you Hyatt. I have never eaten so many eggs before I started staying with you.
