Was in Macau last month. US and Canadians receive visa stamps on the spot like Hong Kong. Usually a green HK departure and/or arrival stamp when leaving from the ferry terminal, a black stamp from the airport.

I have read the 30 day rule for Hong Kong for Americans, oddly all my HK stamps say 90 days. Macau is 30 days.
