Yes, it appears United has bought the least effective toasters I have ever seen. I think holding the bread under a reading lamp would be at least as effective.

Actually, breakfast is the one time the RCC's actually have something out that resembles the meal appropriate to the time of day. If you like a simple breakfast, you'll be fine.

If you're flying internationally, I imagine the *A lounge at LAX has some real food at that time.
