What's your advice? Just to wait. I need to leave that day specifically. Do you think either will go down? According to United, they said if someone cancels, then the award flight at 12,500 will return but I find it hard to believe that would happen each time a single person cancels.

I also don't mind paying for the flight but that stupid 23rd date is killing me. The flight is half price the week before.

I know I can do miles and money as well, but not worth it for me to lose that many miles and just to save $200
