No. The 74B's which I hop on at least once a month have old J seats but new F seats, with the exception of a 744 once in a while, which has both the new J and F seats.
Well, considering the J pricing, SFO-HKG is about $2K cheaper than LAX-HKG, I am assuming this is indeed an inferior route for CX.
I'll take the F on 744 anyday over 343.
