If one is taking this option, one might want to make the transfer at the corner of South Federal Highway and SE 17th Street Causeway (northbound Route 1 transferring to westbound Route 40). This avoids the backtracking to the Central Terminal.
The issue becomes whether using BCT will allow enough time at the destination.
