I think that it was in 2008 that we managed to get a "reasonably" priced room at the Sofitel T-5, probably because it had just opened and it was a Sunday night. This year its prices were rediculous. I kept falling for an over 200 pound price only to discover it was for day use only. Perhaps things loosened up two days before our flight but we finally had to reserve something so got the Premier Inn, the one by the cemetary. It had one of those awful soap depenser on the wall of the shower which had dripped its very slippery "soap" on the slick part of the tub under the shower causing my husband to do a slip and fall, hitting his head on the luckily plastic tub. The front desk was nicely concerned though he was fine. The Hoppa came in front but didn't stop. The girl at the desk ran after it to get it back. She should be in the Olympics! They were very nice there and we felt bad that we could not have dinner or breakfast. I'm still miffed at the Sofitel. Those rediculous prices will certainly drive away tourists. I hope they get lots of competition from another Hilton.
