Connections - well headed to Hawaii in a month and still planning intend to cover 2 of the islands, so have some flexibility.. I did note that CX882 been getting in early of late.
Looking to connect to AA161 @ 1630 to OGG. Could do AA267 @ 1815 to HNL if the OGG connection is too tight
If you are looking to fly from HKG to HNL/Hawaii you should look at the new CX codeshare with JL, routing via Japan. The total journey time is estimated to be around 11h30mins on the way to 16 hours on the way back, so is much faster than HKG-LAX (Stressful connection) then backtracking to Hawaii.
You can fly CX to NGO/NRT/KIX and then connect with JL to Hawaii.
