Asia Miles won't get you into the lounges, unless you use those miles to upgrade to J or F classes. I heard some people get invited to be a MPC member due to their high number of points with AM, but that's another story.

You can join MPC for a fee. But you need to gain Silver status at least to gain access to lounges too.
