How do we find good restaurants in this town? Water water everywhere, but not a drop to drink!
Some of my regular spots are:

Landmarc (Time warner and Tribeca locations both very good and open late)
Casa Mono
Sarafina (61st street)
Aureole
Tocqueville
The Greenwich Grill
Arabelle
Da Andrea
Orsay

I don't know if these restaurants are the "best" but I certainly love them and have been to all of them many times. All have good food, good wine, and good atmosphere.

I used to love la Goulue and Provence, but very unfortunately these are now closed.

Has anyone been to Hundred Acres restaurant that opened where Provence was on MacDougal street? I believe owners are the same.
