There is a difference between the PDB sparkling wine and the inflight champagne. Some FAs (and friends from Chainlando?) apparently don't understand the difference. @:-) [my other pet peeve is FAs not putting the champers on ice when doing PD prep]

I understand that some FAs may be thinking they are doing their best by using up all the PDB stuff before opening the champagne, but if inflight isn't stocking enough of the champagne then Delta should know about it rather than have FAs solve the problem with a sub-par product/detail.
