There's a lot of negative threads/posts about equipment swaps, but I figured I would post a good experience from the other night. Thursday night United 533 from IAD-DEN they did an equipment swap to an international 767 from a domestic 752.

There was one seat left in the F cabin after all upgrades had been handled and right before take off, the FAs went and pulled a 1k from C cabin (for the rare double up), and it sounded like they were moving someone from Y to C, though I was settled so I couldnt see back to see what was happening.

I know thats not typical and I thought it was nice, since its rare to get a domestic ride in 3 class first.

Im wondering if they tend to be more lenient on double upgrades when its an equipment swap?
