Thanks for the information. How does one avoid getting bumped: should I go early to check in? Wife and son are in J but I will be in Y . Want to make sure all of us get on the same plane.
Also, do they upgrade easily in CX? I don't have any status so it would be with cash (have AA miles but upgrade awards would be gone). Most likely I would be on consolidator ticket though company may pay for a higher fare ticket (due to difficulty in confirming one leg with the consolidator).
