If indeed the service persons moved up front were non-elites, while a nice gesture, it makes you(or at least me) wonder why the FA's are empowered to do this, but not able to do anything if the GA doesn't process the last UGs and the flight goes out with empty FC seats and elites in the back.

If this happened per the GA working the flights OK, then I guess it's consistent, otherwise it's not.
