And if I'm not mistaken bjorns you had to get out of a Super Caravelle in an actual emergency.

I've only done the Cranebank Sim and was sat in 3A where the smoke came in. It ruined an Armani sweater. What was frightening was in the gas chamber portacabin, although they only used dry ice, and those at the back had to leave through the front exit; those in the front through the rear. It was designed to show just how crowded and chaotic a real emergency is.
