Here's what a friend had to say after staying at Cavelieri in August 2011:

"Cavalieri was good not great. Everything was an upcharge including pool, fitness center, Internet. Everything. And in euros that added up quickly. Some parts were nice but other parts a little run down. Also I think due to its reputation, the crowd was a real mixed bag. That said, the view from our room was insane, our room was beautiful, and the kids pool was very nice. But it ain't no four seasons showing top to bottom luxury at every corner and top notch service. I think we liked Hotel Eden in the city (no pool) much more. . ."
